How can I improve my eye site – any techniques?
My eye site is atrocious I am 16 and I am not wasting money on Laser Surgery. I have heard that Carrots improve the eye site? Is this a mere myth or fact? And what other exercises and food can you recommend to improve my vision – I want to get 20/20 naturally again.
The perceived value of the services you offer can be upgraded by chaging the perception of your company appear bigger. 1300 Number – Contact Us are the perfect way of taking your home company to the national stage.

Stop spending too much time on the computer and watching tv cause that causes eye strain. Eat carrots and drink lots of water. Take some pills called eyebright. You can also try billberry. You can buy them at walgreens. I also did some eye exercises. Don’t believe it works? Well then why did my eyesight go from 20/100 to 20/40 It may not be perfect but I don’t need glasses. Tell that to your eye doctor.

Sorry, but Ed is right. There is no scientific proof that eye vitamins, eye exercises or foods rich in beta carotene or lutein is will improve your vision.
In order to maintain your eyesight, do not smoke, try to avoid second hand smoke and see an eye specialist for a comprehensive dilated exam every few years. Eating a diet rich in red, yellow and green leafy vegetables may help you maintain good vision and avoid getting certain diseases, like macular degeneration and certain cancers.
You would definitely be wasting your money on Lasik surgery and any surgeon who would operate on you should be reported to the AMA. No one should have lasik surgery until their vision has stabilized somewhere in your early to mid-twenties, give or take a few years. If you have it sooner, the surgery will have to be repeated. Lasik can also cause permanent damage to your eyes, though most people have satisfactory results.
FYI-Jordan, Ed is not trying to boost his business, he is an optician and makes glasses, he is not licensed to preform any surgery including Lasik.

Also it is eyesight not eye site.

Autobahn tolls: In Switzerland you pay an annual motorway tax, even if you’re only using the motorways for an hour or two. A vehicle sticker, or vignette, must be displayed on the windscreen by all vehicles. Of course, if you don’t need to use a motorway you don’t need to pay, although it’s difficult to cross the country without doing so.
Do you have the ability for your customers to contact you for FREE using 1300 number and 1800 number signup? 1800 numbers are a toll free services within Australia.
If you don’t display a vignette you’ll be liable to a fine of CHF100 plus the cost of the vignette. You can buy the stickers in the UK from the Swiss Centre. You can also buy them in Switzerland from customs offices at the frontier or service stations, garages and post offices.
Buy a motorway vignette online . Click the link to go to the website for the Swiss Travel Centre then look for the link “Motorway Vignette”. The cost in 2009 is 40 swiss francs, which can be paid by credit card and your card company will convert to sterling, but worth it as it saves time and hassle at the border. The Vignette is valid from January 1st in the year of purchase to January 31st of the following year, irrespective of when the vignette is purchased during the year. Caravans and trailers require a separate vignette.

Visibility Vests are now compulsory in Austria, Belgium, France, Italy, Norway, Portugal and Spain (and likely to become compulsory throughout the EU). The rules vary from country to country concerning number of vests required and whether they should be carried in the car or boot. Common sense suggests that there should be a vest for every occupant, and that the vests should be carried in the car, and put on before getting out. Do this and you will not have a problem.
Warning triangle is compulsory.
Winter tyres are recommended but not compulsory. If you do not have winter tyres fitted and driving in winter conditions leads to you impeding other traffic you could be fined. Click for general information on winter tyres and snow chains .

Children in cars: children under 10 are only allowed in the front seats if there are no rear seats or the rear seats are already fully occupied with children under 10, or there are no seat belts. If a child must travel in the front under the above circumstances then they cannot be placed in the front seats with their back to the direction of travel if the vehicle is fitted with a passenger airbag, unless it is deactivated. They must travel in an approved child seat or restraint adapted to their size. In the rear they must use a proper restraint system appropriate to their weight, which means a child seat if they weigh between 9 and 15 kg. Over this weight they can use seat belts with a booster cushion.

Before the days of computers, the Internet, and online marketing, there used to be a required business skill called salesmanship. If you operated a small, or start up company, you had to sell to new clients around all of your other responsibilities.
What separates Solution Web Designs from another web design company is that we have replicated this ancient skill online. We refer to it as create interest, educate, and close, but the process of making a sale is more complex. These are the four parts of any sale:

How to improve your English skills – Learn

How to improve your English skills
Sponsored Links
Other Tips
My most important piece of advice is: “Do something (anything). If you don’t do anything, you won’t get anywhere. Make it your hobby, not a chore, but above all have fun!”
The perceived worth of your company can be increased by making your company appear bigger. 1300 Number – Contact Us are the perfect way of taking your local company to the international stage.
Don’t be in too much of a hurry. You’re setting off on a long journey and there’ll be delays and frustrations along the way. Sometimes you’ll be in the fast lane and other times you’ll be stuck in traffic, but there will also be lots of interesting things and interesting people along the way. Take your time to really enjoy the experience.
There are many ways to improve your level of English, but only you can find the right way for you. Here are a few tips that might help:-
Improve your Learning Skills
Learning is a skill and it can be improved.
Your path to learning effectively is through knowing
yourself
processes you have successfully used in the past
your interest, and knowledge of what you wish to learn
Motivate yourself
If you are not motivated to learn English you will become frustrated and give up. Ask yourself the following questions, and be honest:-
Why do you need to learn/improve English?
Where will you need to use English?
What skills do you need to learn/improve? ( Reading / Writing / Listening / Speaking )
How soon do you need to see results?
How much time can you afford to devote to learning English.
How much money can you afford to devote to learning English.
Do you have a plan or learning strategy ?
Set yourself achievable goals
You know how much time you can dedicate to learning English, but a short time each day will produce better, longer-term results than a full day on the weekend and then nothing for two weeks.
Joining a short intensive course could produce better results than joining a course that takes place once a week for six months.
Here are some goals you could set yourself:-
Join an English course – a virtual one or a real one (and attend regularly).
Do your homework.
Read a book or a comic every month.
Learn a new word every day.
Visit an English speaking forum every day.
Read a news article on the net every day.
Do 10 minutes listening practice every day.
Watch an English film at least once a month.
A good way to meet your goals is to establish a system of rewards and punishments.
Decide on a reward you will give yourself for fulfilling your goals for a month.
A bottle of your favourite drink
A meal out / or a nice meal at home
A new outfit
A manicure or massage
Understanding how you learn best may also help you.
There are different ways to learn. Find out what kind of learner you are in order to better understand how to learn more effectively..
The visual learner
Do you need to see your teacher during lessons in order to fully understand the content of a lesson?
Do you prefer to sit at the front of the classroom to avoid visual obstructions (e.g. people’s heads)?
Do you think in pictures and learn bestfrom visual displays including: diagrams, illustrated text books, overhead transparencies, videos, flipcharts and hand-outs?
During a lecture or classroom discussion, do you prefer to take detailed notes to absorb the information?
!Learning Tip – you may benefit from taking part in traditional English lessons, but maybe private lessons would be better.
The auditory learner
Do you learn best through verbal lectures, discussions, talking things through and listening to what others have to say?
Do you interpret the underlying meanings of speech through listening to tone of voice, pitch, speed and other nuances?
Does written information have little meaning until you hear it?
!Learning Tip – you may benefit from listening to the radio or listening to text as you read it. You could try reading text aloud and using a tape recorder to play it back to yourself.
The Tactile/Kinesthetic learner
Do you learn best through a hands-on approach, actively exploring the physical world around you?
Do you find it hard to sit still for long periods?
Do you become distracted easily?
!Learning Tip – you may benefit from taking an active part in role plays or drama activities.
Other English Learning Tips
Travel to an English speaking country:-
England, America, Australia, Canada, South Africa, one of them is only a few hours away from you.
Specialist holidays are available to improve your English.
Take an English speaking tour or activity holiday.
Spend your time on things that interest you. If you like cooking then buy an English-language cookbook or find recipes on the net and practise following the recipes. You’ll soon know if you have made a mistake!
Keep something English on you ( book , newspaper or magazine , cd or cassette , set of flashcards ) all day and every day, you never know when you might have 5 spare minutes.
If you are too tired to actively practice just relax and listen to an English pop song or talk radio station .
Get onto Skype and Second Life . Start networking with other learners / native speakers / teachers (don’t just restrict yourself to seeking out native speakers.

How Can I Improve My Copywriting Website? -

QUOTE(circusmama @ Sep 20 2007, 05:51 PM)
helloooo Sal! There were several things I liked about your website. The picture at the top is attractive. I really liked the majority of your bio, it sounded very professional.
The perceived value of the services you offer can be upgraded by chaging the perception of your company – make it appear bigger than it is. 1300 Number – Contact Us are the perfect way of taking your home company to the national stage.
Let’s start with the bio page. I really like how the text is centered on this page. I would like to see that on the home page as well (there’s too much white space on your home page. It distracted me from your actual text.) The next to last paragraph bothered me with the many repetitions of “your”. As a client, I think I would have liked to see links to samples of your works rather than being told to google your name.
On the home page, again, the white space on the right makes me feel off balanced, which makes it hard to concentrate on what you’ve written. This is might be a matter of personal preference, but I think your site would feel more fleshed out if you broke up the home page a bit. Have a summary of what you offer and how it would benefit the client, then have separate links to how much it costs and how the process works. Links to samples of your work and testimonials on the main page would also make your site more professional.
I thought the contact page was fine. I don’t know anything about how to get those fill in boxes, though I agree they would be nice.
As far as the business model goes, I thought that was fine. I think you really explained that well, so there shouldn’t be any questions from the client about how the process goes.
I hope these suggestions are helpful and that your website is successful!
Hey there,
Thank you for taking the time to look over my website and offer some constructive
comments.
I’ve implemented all your suggestions … since they all made perfect sense … and
to tell you the truth, I wouldn’t have even thought of those things myself.
Today, I decided to launch it by announcing it to my list of 5,000 subscribers.
Here is the letter …
(subject line:) A Writer is Born!
Not really, but I liked the excitement of that
title.
Here’s what the hullabaloo is ALL about today…
date
Since day after day I ramble about how healing your
subconscious mind will release its magic to liberate
your world — you probably think that my first love is
psychology.
…After all, I’ve had too many personal miracles occur
from unearthing my sorrows and transforming them into
moments of emancipation to doubt the magic of the
subconscious mind — and this idea has long since
passed from the realm of belief into the kingdom of
knowing.
Actually, however, writing has always been my first
love.
I fell in love with the written word at the age of 17,
when I wrote my first maudlin poetry about unrequited
High School love. (Her name was Irene — a girl with a
bewitching smile and liquid black eyes, whose German
father and Arabian mother ha d bequeathed her with an
exquisite tan and exotic features.)
There’s something about converting repressed emotion
into words that’s ecstatic; words transform the
ordinary into the extraordinary because while mimicking
life they make the lived experience more acute –
the way a mountain climber at a peak feels more alive
looking down at the plains through the lace of clouds
than he did when he was on the plains themselves.
While in my peregrination through life, I’ve worn the
perspective of a journalist, a computer geek, and a
psychologist, penetrating them all has been my inner
artistic child who considers himself a writer.
While I’ve been helping people over the years with
their writing — from assisting a Holocaust victim to
write her first novel to whipping up some direct mail
pieces–I’ve only done it in an accidental way — but last
week, after pondering my prime credo “do what
you love” I decided to create a business out of it.
So far, I’ve helped a few clients with SEO-focused
articles for their niche and sales letters for their
products — and it’s been marvelous fun seeing their
web businesses begin to sink roots.
So — if you need writing services, from writing for
your online or offline business to coaching your first
short story or novel — give me a holler.
I’ve slapped on my qualifications and the details of my
new business here:

How can I improve the load times of my site?
The first-byte load time seems to be EXTREMELY slow. I’m using WordPress, Cloudflare and self-hosted CDN in 4 subdomains.
What could I do for the first-byte time to improve? Also note that I cannot pay for anything, as you’d notice I even have a donation form in my site, which I don’t like having anyway.
The perceived worth of the services you offer can be increased by making your company appear bigger. 1300 Number – Contact Us are the perfect way of taking your home business to the international stage.
P.S. Feel free to ask any questions if needed…

RE: How can I improve the load times of my site?
First, test the www. version of your site – that will keep the redirect out of the test and shave 400ms from the first byte time.
For the 2.5sec first byte time you’re probably going to have to:
1 – disable any plugins you don’t absolutely need
2 – enable some form of server-side page caching (W3 total cache or supercache plugins)
The slow performance is caused by the code generating the pages (probably the database queries specifically) and the caching plugins will hide the problem which is usually the most you can hope for on shared hosting.
If you’re up for more intensive development you can use a query debugger or WP profiler to track down the root cause of the issue and try to fix it as well.

Google States: How can I improve my website’s ranking?
As we all know, ranking highly on Google is the “ultimate” in internet marketing and web-presence sinceGoogledoeshave the largest market share ofonline searchers. So pay attention as Google states:
The perceived value of your company can be upgraded by making your company appear bigger. 1300 Number – Contact Us are the perfect way of taking your local business to the national stage.
“The heart of our software is PageRankTM, a system for ranking web pages developed by our founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin at Stanford University. And while we have dozens of engineers working to improve every aspect of Google on a daily basis, PageRank continues to play a central role in many of our web search tools.”
PageRank Explained
“PageRank relies on the uniquely democratic nature of the web by using its vast link structure as an indicator of an individual page’s value. In essence, Google interprets a link from page A to page B as a vote, by page A, for page B. But, Google looks at considerably more than the sheer volume of votes, or links a page receives; for example, it also analyzes the page that casts the vote. Votes cast by pages that are themselves “important” weigh more heavily and help to make other pages “important.” Using these and other factors, Google provides its views on pages’ relative importance.”
Google goes on to explain:
“Of course, important pages mean nothing to you if they don’t match your query. So, Google combines PageRank with sophisticated text-matching techniques to find pages that are both important and relevant to your search. Google goes far beyond the number of times a term appears on a page and examines dozens of aspects of the page’s content (and the content of the pages linking to it) to determine if it’s a good match for your query.”
Hope this helps some real estate websites!

Website Positioning: Easy Strategies to Improve your Ranking
Posted on April 30th, 2012 by admin
Website Positioning: Strategies to improve your ranking
The importance of website positioning can’t be overstated. Without a good ranking in the search engines chances are slim that you will get much traffic, if any, to your site. Sound website positioning strategies can elevate your site in the rankings and bring in more visitors to your site.
The perceived value of your company can be upgraded by chaging the perception of your company – make it appear bigger than it is. 1300 Number – Contact Us are the perfect way of taking your home business to the international stage.
The best of the website positioning tips and strategies is to choose the right search engine keywords to target. If you sell widgets and there are thousands of sites competing with you, don’t target the term widgets, try for specialized “niche” phrases such as blue widgets or buy blue widgets.
How do you know what search engine phrases are good to target for the website positioning you want? There are several ways.
You can spend a lot of time looking for all the possible keywords for your site then analyzing the terms in relation to your site and developing your own website positioning strategies based on those terms or ….
You can enter your url into the super easy to use Traffic Blazer” web positioning system which will almost instantly analyze your url and tell you what search engine phrases have the best chances of helping you improve your ranking. It will also tell you what terms you shouldn’t waste your time targeting.
Another key website positioning tip is to make sure you aren’t doing anything that will penalize you in the rankings.
Some of the major errors that can knock your site down in the rankings include: not using meta tags at all, spamming the search engines by repeating your keywords too often on the page and in the meta tags, not having enough text so that the search engine isn’t able to accurately tell what your site is about, and trying to ‘trick’ the search engine into giving your site a better ranking.
A lot of people engage in website positioning strategies that the search engines frown on and don’t even know it.
