First off, it’s a little jumbled. You need to clearly delineate the nav bar and the main text. I’d do that by separating the two. Perhaps adding windows with time stamps.
Secondly, it’s lacking in information. You need to show me:
1) why do i want to be there?
The perceived worth of your company can be upgraded by making your company – make it appear bigger than it is. 1300 Number – Contact Us are the perfect way of taking your home business to the international stage.
2) why do i want to come back?
3) why should i tell others about it?
4) what audience are you targeting?
Pick up google analytics. Start testing different concepts and checking your hit rate. Think viral.
Looking at how blogs are generally structured may help you as well.

The background is very loud and confusing, and you almost have to squint to read the text. Here’s my suggestion: Use a white, solid-colored column as the format for your page and your background as the coloring on the left and right sides of this wide column.
The perceived value of your company can be increased by making your company appear bigger. 1300 Number – Contact Us are the perfect way of taking your home business to the national stage.
On this wide column, add a section on the homepage for your game categories, a separate section on the homepage for recent games (you also may want to organize these better; use page breaks, centering, and align the format), and a separate section for advertisements, perhaps in a column aligning the page like you have it.
Choose a better font than the default Times New Roman; that is a very boring font. Try something easy to read though, like Calibri or Verdana.
Match your font colors, title banner color, and background colors to give the site a more put-together feel.
Also, your title banner is a little cheesy. You may want to add some artwork (not clip art or something from Google images), or even hire a friend you know to make a cool design. The red font is just not very pleasing to the eye.
Browse popular gaming websites to get ideas.
Capitalize all of your links, like game titles. You may want to distinguish game titles from game descriptions by using page breaks and bold.
Be more consistent/patterned with your format to decrease viewer confusion.
Those are my humble suggestions; I am pretty good at graphic designing and making things look presentable. Try to ask yourself: If I were browsing the Internet and happened across this website, what would be my first impression? Cheesy and amateur, or professional and catchy?

Right now you’ve got a great visual image, some interesting design, but this would be something that you’d mark up to a personal page in delivery.

Ok…here’s a way to explain it…you state you want to help people in a computer way…ok…but you list programming, video games, graphic art and sorta tossing in everything but the hard drive and then some.
You can’t give them a computer version of Walmart/Kmart – and you don’t want to…because the things you mention include some very different types of people. So to help those people, you have to make sure you are offering the best you can to their focus…
With me? It’s like putting you in a huge warehouse and saying here’s everything about computers – go find it! Ack! You’d more than likely run out the door!
Now, if I say “Hey dude, you need some help with these (RPG, 1st person shooter, Fighting, Sim) video games? Come over here to this site and I’ll show you all you could want to know about these (specific) type of video games.”
Or “Hey, I have an awesome collection of graphic art images that you can check out and use for whatever you want. I even have some that you can download now for free! See how this directs the information to a selective and focused group? That is what you need to target your site to, one group. Nothing says you can’t make another group with a different focus…lol

I’ve got to say for myself that it’s been uphill sometimes when you are learning a second language, mostly English. It’s either a slang, a saying, a phrase, you name it. The most important thing is to immerse yourself in it. You have to love it, and have fun in the way.
My advice is to build a solid foundation with the basics and never back down. Never quit or give up, keep trying everyday, because when you think that you are losing ground, it’s when you realize that you have earned a lot of knowledge. First, you *must* stop using text speak in your writing. It’s fine if you’re actually texting someone, but in formal writing, words like “plz,” “u,” “ur,” “4″ and “2″ must be eliminated. Learn to use the proper words. It’s “please,” “you,” and “your.” When referring to the number, it’s “four.” Otherwise, it’s “for.”
Go online and purchase a good English dictionary. This will help you learn new words, their spelling and pronunciation.
Learn to use articles like “a,” “an” and “the.” Don’t say or write, “I go to store.” Say, “I go to the store” or “I’m going to the store.” It’s not “Chair is broken,” it’s “The chair is broken.”

Read classic novels in English and take note of the grammar and writing style. Read an English newspaper and observe the writing style there.

To all those who want to improve their English, you need to do two things: get a good English dictionary and a grammar book. The grammar book should be on an elementary level. You need to learn it like a child learns the language. Also, read the reputable news web sites to see good, standard, written English.
*Stop* using text speak and abbreviations. This is not standard English, and it’s a bad habit. *Don’t* use “u” for “you”; “pls” or “plz” for “please”; “ppl” for “people” and so forth. Just don’t do it. Using text speak in this kind of format makes you appear uneducated and immature.
If you’re speaking to someone who is a native English speaker, do not be embarrassed to ask him or her to speak slower so you can understand. In all likelihood, the person will be glad to speak slowly to help you.

English is a big, complex language, and it takes time for a non-native to speak it well, as is the case with most languages.

The last thing you want is to confuse your visitor with a bunch of different things. There are times when they don’t know why they’re on your site. All they know is they’re looking for information on a certain topic. However, your specific call-to-action can make or break your business.
Build trust with your clients by allowing an easy method of contacting you using Click To Call Button.
Let me give you an example. Let’s say that you have a website focused on helping people to get loans. Now if you’re writing an article and submitting it to a website like EzineArticles.com, your resource/bio line should have a strong call-to-action like this, “Don’t risk getting a loan modification denied. This information could make a difference. Go here right now to find more.” Once they click, you’re driving them to your website. Do you see how you’re making them do something. And then when they get to your site, they are taken to an opt-in page where they can sign up for your offer – whether it be free information report, or a mini-course or whatever. Do you see what I’m saying? You have a clear message, and your visitor knows exactly what do to. That’s how you might want to structure all of your marketing. To make sure that you understand, let me give you an example of how you should never structure your website. So, let’s just say that you’ve got a sales letter to sell and then you’ve got a link for your visitor to go to read your most recent press release. If they click on that link, you’ve taken them off your page. Basically, you’ve lost them.
If you have a press release you want them to read along with some free videos you’d like them to also watch, your website has lost its focus. What is it that you want your visitor to do? Get the free video read your press release or get them to buy your ebook? The reason I’m saying that, is because if you’re giving your visitor too many things to do on your website, that only confuses them and it doesn’t solve the problem of what it is you want them to do. You need to have a clear goal in mind for your prospect. Having one focused goal, for example, to have them sign up to receive your free report, is a good example of a well thought out call-to -action. So, if the outcome you want to have them to do is to buy, then you want to make the focus of the site one and one thing only and that is to buy your ebook. You want to take those things into consideration before you build your website. A clear and focused plan is crucial in growing a successful online business.
My suggestion for this case study above is to focus on your page itself. Focus in on selling that one thing, which is your ebook. And then secondly, focus on increasing your traffic. Get as many articles as possible circulated online to help you accomplish these two things. Then and only then will you begin to reap the rewards of your efforts.

One of the most important elements of your website is the “call to action.” Your site may have a compelling headline that grabs your visitors’ attention. It may have well-written sales copy, great graphics, awesome navigation, fantastic testimonials, and an unbelievable opt-in offer. But all these things aren’t going to mean squat if you don’t include a clear call to action!

Take a moment to consider the purpose of your website. What is it you want people to do when they visit your site? Find out about the benefits of your product? Sign up to receive your free newsletter? Make a purchase, perhaps? Now ask yourself: Does your site tell your visitors exactly how to do these things?
Your visitors need to know what you want them to do. If you don’t tell them to purchase your product or subscribe to your free newsletter, how can you be sure they’re going to take that action? Be explicit about the actions you want your visitors to take. Your straightforwardness will have a direct impact on your sales!
The Power of Suggestion
Just in case it’s been a while since you brushed up on your marketing lingo, a call to action is a strongly worded suggestion that clearly states what action you want your visitors to take. It encourages people to take that action and tells them what will happen if they do. For example, the following phrases are all calls to action:
“Click here to subscribe!”
“Add to your shopping cart.”
“Order now to take advantage of this limited-time offer!”
It’s a good idea to include an emotionally appealing benefit in your call to action. This convinces visitors of the value of your product and encourages them to take the action. For example: “Read on to learn how you could save tens of thousands of dollars on your next home purchase.”
You want to pique people’s interest and make them believe that taking the specified action will offer them a direct benefit. After all, who wouldn’t want to save tens of thousands of dollars?
The most obvious and important call to action, of course, is the one that asks visitors to make a purchase. This is the crucial moment: asking for the order and closing the sale.
You know, it’s amazing how many people simply neglect to ask for the order. This simple oversight can be deadly for your business; in fact, studies show that you can increase your sales by at least 80 percent by clearly instructing your visitors how to make a purchase!
The call to action that asks visitors to make a purchase is the make-it-or-break-it moment. However, closing a sale is like lining up a pool shot–you don’t want to rush it!
It takes a lot of work to close the sale, which is why you can’t just skip to this point right away. Before you get there, you have to:
Emphasize the benefits of your product or service by answering the all-important customer question “What’s in it for me?”
Establish your credibility by citing credentials, including customer testimonials
Overcome objections to buy
Build value into your offer
Back up your offer with a strong guarantee
Offer valuable bonuses with the purchase
Once you’ve done all these things, then you can ask for the order. In fact, you must ask for the order at that point! Otherwise, all the great work you’ve done will be wasted.
Online entrepreneurs often make the mistake of “implying” what they want their visitors to do rather than explicitly stating it. Don’t be coy! You may wish to avoid coming across like you’re “ordering” your visitors to do something, but unless you blatantly explain what you want them to do, you’re going to see mediocre sales.
So make sure you tell your visitors exactly what you want them to do! You have to spell it out as clearly as possible. Use direct, action-oriented words such as these:
